Customer service is less than anemic in our case. A very long day of work for both my wife and myself at our jobs in San Jose and Mountain View led us to place our evening meal in the hands of Tony & Alba’s in Scotts Valley where we hadn’t been in years. As a result of poor communication, we did not get what we ordered, and the restaurant unfortunately appears unwilling to make amends. We ordered a pizza with GREEN onions. We were NOT informed the restaurant does not serve them. They put YELLOW onions on our pizza (there IS a difference), which we were then forced to pay $30 for, or WAIT for another pizza (which obviously would not have had GREEN onions on it).
Here’s what I got for the $30…
An unappetizing pizza (half of which went into the compost).
A weak apology from the assistant manager and an argument from a staff person that we could have waited for another pizza…(what happened to ‘the customer is always right’ service?).
Dine at your own risk.
