Citizen Science: The Science of Friendship

February 4, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

A lifelong passion for understanding interpersonal connections led local researcher Christine Brooks to co-found the Science of Friendship project – a research and information hub dedicated to all things friendship.
Join Christine in a discussion of her research and learn practical tips about processes of befriending, including: ways to find common purpose, create solidarity, and use the power of interconnection to enhance our lives. The discussion will include initial findings from her recent qualitative study on best friendship. Friendship keeps us healthy and happy throughout life. Learn the science behind why and how at the next Citizen Science!

We invite you to join us every first Thursday of the month for a presentation and Q&A with local experts and researchers in the field discussing life science, ecology, geology, genetics, climatology and more. Let’s connect, inspire and inform each other!
