Conversations for Change: Shape the Future of Santa Cruz County

Your aspirations for the place in which we live, work, serve, and play together are needed to inform the Santa Cruz Public Library’s strategic planning process. Civic engagement is a necessary part of participatory governance and this special edition of Conversations for Change is your opportunity to get involved in setting the priorities for your community’s library system. Please join us for this important conversation that will cover the following:

People’s aspirations for the community
People’s concerns
How people think and talk about issues in relation to the community
The changes needed to reach our aspirations for the community
What people believe we can do, and who they’d trust to take action

This event will not be video recorded, however, a note taker from the library will be anonymously recording the topics and points discussed.

Conversations for Change is designed to foster greater understanding among individuals who may have different viewpoints. Participants in these small group conversations, guided by a trained host, practice being open and curious about all perspectives, with a focus on learning from one another.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

Conversations for Change will be happening on Zoom. A Zoom link and instructions for joining the online discussion will be emailed upon registration.
