San Lorenzo Valley Water District Meeting for Public Input on Capital Improvement Program Priorities
May 9, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
APRIL 27, 2015 — BOULDER CREEK, CA — The San Lorenzo Valley Water District (SLVWD) today announced a community workshop is scheduled for May 9 to develop priorities for the district’s capital improvement program (CIP) projects.
Public input is sought to help develop criteria upon which SLVWD will prioritize CIP projects over the next 10 years. Workshop participants will select possible project attributes—such as system reliability, fire service, environmental process, water quality and other criteria.
Following selection of attributes and criteria, the information will be used to rank historical and new CIP projects at a second workshop, which will be held in June.
“We are excited to engage with our community to develop criteria that will help us prioritize key capital projects over the next several years,” said Brian Lee, SLVWD General Manager. “This is a good opportunity to take stock of the work in front of us and create a plan that is driven by customer input.”
The meeting will be held 6-8 p.m., May 9, 2015, at the Felton Community Hall, 6191 Hwy 9, Felton.
