Senior Life Online – Animal Shelter presents “Wildlife in Santa Cruz County”

Scotts Valley Senior Life Association is pleased to announce next week’s FREE Senior Life Online (Zoom) presentation on Monday, July 19, at 4:00 pm. Erika Smart, Program & Development Manager with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, will be our featured speaker discussing “Wild Animals in our County” as well as the Animal Shelter’s other services.

This educational talk will cover:

– The Animal Shelter’s core services, including animal and veterinary care
local animal laws
– Types of wildlife present in our area
– Rescue, protection and control of wild animals
– Tips for coexisting with wildlife
– Outdoor and feral cats
– Services for senior citizens
– volunteer opportunities with the Animal Shelter
