Storybook Stroll on the Scotts Valley Library Patio

Fun for all ages! Saturday, June 3 and continuing throughout the month of June, follow the pages around the Scotts Valley Library’s patio on this self-guided stroll and read a beautifully illustrated story along the way. The Keeper of the Wild Words by Brooke Smith is presented for your enjoyment. The children’s book is intended to memorialize the dozens of natural words – poppy, lavender, monarch, violet – cut from the Oxford Junior Dictionary. Smith’s picture book follows an intergenerational duo on a hunt to find various lost words’ real-world attributes. Take home activities and storybook walk sponsored by the Friends of the Scotts Valley Library.
