The 20th Scotts Valley Art, Wine and Beer Festival at Skypark

The Scotts Valley Art, Wine & Beer Festival is welcoming 111 Artists, 14 Wineries, 8 Breweries, and 21 fantastic food vendors. There are many different and unique new artists and a few favorites that have been in our show since the beginning. In 2000, it all began as Art Under the Oaks which was one of the very first events at the brand new Skypark in Scotts Valley.
The ever-popular Classic Car show is returning as a benefit to the Scotts Valley Police Department. Cops ‘N Rodders Classic Car Show, Sponsored by Community Leaders Ed & Mari Rossi is the premier classic car show of Santa Cruz County, over 100 classic cars – from the 1920’s through the 1980’s – driven by their proud owners will be on display. Each year, the winning car is displayed on the following year’s Cops ‘N Rodders T-shirt! This year’s t-shirt feature the previous year’s winner, a 1952 GMC Pickup owned by Gary Feuerhaken. Judging begins at 9am and award winners are announced at 2:00pm
Basketcase Custom Motorcycle Show & Skateboard Day on Sunday The Santa Cruz mountains have long been a gathering point for some of the world’s best and most avid motorcycle riders. Highway 17, Highway 9, Highway 236 and Highway 35 host some spectacular twists and turns accompanied by the most amazing views around. A great place to get lost for a few hours on your favorite set of two wheels. In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Scotts Valley Art and Wine Festival, we bring to you the Scott’s Valley Roll In! On top of the two-wheel aspect of our event, we are also bringing the 4-wheel life into the mix! Basketcase Magazine has teamed up with Cali Style, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Creature Skateboards, Krux Trucks, Bronson Bearings, Bell Helmets and Independent Trucks to be able to host skate games, mini contests and giveaways.  Special appearances by Santa Cruz Derby Girls!
Live MusicSaturday’s live entertainment lineup is Michael Gaither and his New Best Friends, The Shady Rest Band, and the Headliner, The Carolyn Sills Combo. Sunday performances by, The Doozies, Colonel Kelp, Pine Cone, Santa Cruz Circus Arts, Joint Chiefs, and headliner, Lyin’ I’s Eagles Tribute Band    View Master Entertainment Schedule   
POMDR (Peace of Mind Dog Rescue) will be on hand featuring dogs that are available for adoption. Our Master of Ceremonies for this year’s “Doggie Day” will be none other than Phil Gomez from KSBW! Awards will be given for the Best Costume, Best Trick and Best Look-a-like. Fun games & Photobooth, K9 Demonstration and Raffle! include: Visit our vendors that are participating; Coast Veterinary Services, Earth Wise Pets, Scotts Valley Nutrition, Oh My Dog Treats, Birchbark Foundation, Scotts Valley Veterinary, One Source Compounding and Peace of Mind Dog Rescue.
The enormous Kids Fun Zone sponsored by Building Kidz School, will feature the Spider Mountain climbing tower with a giant vertical drop slide, a bungee jump, Brenda’s Face Painting, hair braiding by Sami’s Hair Design, Tye-Dye t-shirt making with Skate of the Arts. Parents and children alike will be “wowed” as we follow “The Bubble Lady” to “Bubble Land” and participate in incredible musically enhanced bubble adventures!
