After 30 years of serving the Scotts Valley Police Department and the city of Scotts Valley, Lt. John Hohmann is set to retire December 2nd, 2013, almost 30 years to the date that he was first hired as an officer.
Lt. Hohmann is well known, loved and respected throughout the Scotts Valley community and is also known for his work with the Special Olympics and his involvement in the local high school as an instructor, among many other accomplishments that he has had throughout the years.
The good news is that he will be staying on board with the police department as a reserve officer, going back to being a patrol officer on the streets of Scotts Valley.
