In the Northern reaches of the San Lorenzo Valley, Located in the mystical mountains of Santa Cruz, is the Long ago town of Boulder Creek. It is there, at The Red Pearl, that the most delicious Chinese Food is Prepared fresh daily. Also there, is Zhujiang the Pearl Dragon, He has now come to these mystical mountains to dwell as protector of The Red Pearl, the owners, Jenny & Ren, and all who partake of its wondrous food.
You know those business owners or people where you go to dine or buy something and just the interaction alone makes you come back over and over again?
Met Jenny at The Red Pearl in Boulder Creek and I don’t know what I loved more, the incredible food or the genuine sweetness and kindness of Jenny who was just the best. Seriously!
I had several things and all were good, but the honey walnut prawns, Mongolian beef, egg roll and potstickers were extra amazing.
BUT… the dish that stole the show was what Jenny called the Crab Rangoon which was out of this world, a fried potsticker with crab and cream cheese. Holy cow!
Can’t wait to make it back, winning!!!
