The Friends of the Scotts Valley Library will host local author Buzz Anderson May 20 at 3:30pm in the Fireside Room of the Library. Anderson will talk about the research that went into his novel, “Five Hundred Moons,” a work of historical fiction. Spanning the years 1749 to 1793, Anderson’s book focuses on the dramatic conflict between the Ohlone Indians of the Central California coast and the Spanish missionaries. Q&A follows.
