JD Puli is a native Hawaiian born and raised in Waimānalo, O’ahu, HI. He’s been living in the Bay Area for 20 years. He specializes in all genres of Hawai’i’s vast musical phenomena. From soaring falsetto, to hapa haole songs of yesteryear, and the simplified Island Music skank of today, JD covers it all. Choosing songs of Hawai’i that others don’t often cover is what sets him a part. Putting his own style and twist on a timeless classic is how he goes about his music. JD not only covers the music of Hawai’i and Polynesia, but he also covers songs in pop, blues, country, rock, ballads, r&b, and reggae. You will surely be taken back by JD’s voice and talent. 5-7pm in the beer garden.
