How lucky are we to live in one of the most beautiful, scenic areas of the state?!
Santa Cruz is definitely a destination location, especially during the summer holidays… so why not join us and paint a fun local beach scene in a “postcard-style” painting?
Maybe you’ve always wanted to try your hand at watercolor but just need a little nudge or a bit of guidance. Or perhaps you’ve always wanted to learn how to paint no-fail seascapes, with a few tips and tricks on how to paint waves up your sleeve! Well, we’ve got you covered…
Ruth Korch has been helping people find their creative voice and unique expressive style using both brush and nib for over 30+ years. Her encouraging and gentle teaching style builds confidence and provides a safe place where everyone can play, discover, and find the beauty in everyday life.
Not only will Ruth provide all your supplies and tracing template, but she’ll gently give you step-by-step instructions so you’ll leave with a beautiful completed piece – ready to frame or give.
There will be wine to sip and snacks to inspire. Additionally, the store will remain open after class for your browsing pleasure. Owner, Dedra will generously be offering a 20% discount to class participants on any purchases that afternoon/evening. Who knows, you might just find the perfect frame to display your painting or to give as a unique, handmade gift.
No experience necessary and all levels are welcome.
