Santa Cruz, CA – The beloved and action-packed world of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is coming to life on stage in a thrilling youth theater production. Presented by CYT, this production is set to run from May 12th to May 14th at the Veterans Memorial Building in Santa Cruz.
Adapted for the stage, the Percy Jackson Musical tells the story of the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson who has newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. The world of Percy Jackson is so rich and imaginative, and we’ve worked hard to bring that world to life with exciting choreography, stunning visuals, and a talented cast of young actors.
The cast includes youth from 8-18, all of whom have been hard at work rehearsing for months to bring this production to life.
