FELTON, CA: On Saturday February 15, 2025 from 3pm – 9:30pm, a brand-new and all-ages annual tradition, Winter Warmer Festival, will occur inside Bret Harte Hall at Roaring Camp Railroads, known for hosting Redwood Mountain Faire, Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Festival and Brewgrass Festival.
“The idea is to get everyone together during the shorter and colder winter days…when we need to get out and shake it to a variety of live music, eat comfort food, explore local original art, drink local beer, wine and more” says Andrew Myers, event co-founder.
Winter Warmer will be comprised of 4 genre-spanning musical acts, art & craft vendors, comfort food, local beer, wine, co[ee/hot drink bar, kids’ area and more. It will feature beer from Shanty Shack Brewing in Santa Cruz, comfort food from Shockwave Foods in Felton, and co[ee/hot drinks from Cruise Co[ee in Scotts Valley. Vendors offering original artwork as well as craft items from participants in Homeless Garden Project. We are excited to o[er free parking this year.
Rory Lynch plays new music for old souls. His unique style tiptoes on the lines between pop, folk, country, and jazz. In recent years his music has shifted to encompass multiple genres such as R&B, Neo soul, Bossa Nova, Funk, and even some Hip Hop. His voice is a blend of crooner, country, and soul that flourishes within his uniquely fashioned style of retro Americana.
Benjamin Andrews is a guitarist, lyricist, vocalist and legend in Bay Area rock‘n’roll with jaw-dropping chops, a natural showmanship and deeply expressive style. A veteran member of the acclaimed R&B/modern soul band Con Brio, he said “I’m thrilled to be playing the first (annual) Winter Warmer. It’s always been a blast playing with Con Brio at Roaring Camp and it’ll be exciting to come back and share my new music with what is always a very supportive and enthusiastic community. While Greg Loiacono may be best known as a gritty rock and soul man from his work with The Mother Hips and Chris Robinson, the singer/songwriter has ventured out on his own with a variety of musical projects. His latest group Stingray merges elements of soul, rock, R&B, and funk into masterful songwriting, rich improvisation, intricate rhythms, and a deep attention to vocal harmony.
Forrest Day is a man and also a 5-piece band based out of Oakland that blends jazz, hip hop and more. The debut self-titled EP was released in 2006 and the band has had quite a ride ever since. Known for their original sound and intense live shows, now is a great time to catch these guys in their prime. There is nothing quite like a Forrest Day show
Winding through giant redwoods while riding these historical 100+ year old trains, you travel back to a simpler time.
