I have lived in the Scotts Valley community for 50 years and continue to support local communities by being involved as much as I can with teaching elementary - adult level abilities. I find it vital to give back to the community that has given so much to me over the years. I have a BFA -1983 -MFA -1990 in performance. I have orchestral experience and have played 25 years of Cabrillo Stage Shows. I'm also certified in Orff Percussion techniques. I was the Music Director at Baymonte Christian School from 2000-2017 for directing the vocal and instrumental programs. I have a wide range of styles on the trumpet and drums which I can offer anyone who enjoys to have fun and study the world of music.
We perform ten classical concerts in our regular season from October to May at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville. During each season we also perform special benefit concerts, and a reduced-admission Family Concert. Additionally, we demonstrate our commitment to education each year with Classroom Visits from our musicians, and our in-class music listening program, Classical Music Classrooms, which reaches over 4,000 elementary students throughout Santa Cruz County each year.
