Graham Hill Road Traffic Delays for Roadway Grooving

To avoid traffic delays on Graham Hill Road use alternative routes of Mt Hermon Road or Highway 9.

Wednesdy, December 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Traffic delays will occur on Graham Hill Road from Roaring Camp Road to Lockewood Lane.

This work is being completed to repair paving on the northbound lane of Graham Hill Road as part of the District’s Intertie Project. There will be one-way traffic control during this time. Expect delays.

After grooving, striping will be completed at a later date. This will be the last of the roadway work for the Intertie Project, a joint effort between San Lorenzo Valley Water District, Scotts Valley Water District and the Mount Hermon Association.

The Intertie Project will allow the districts to share water resources in emergencies such as fires and natural disasters.

The San Lorenzo Valley Water District is located in the mountains of northern Santa Cruz County. The district serves more than 7,500 metered connections. Established in 1941, the district supplies water to the communities of Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Zayante, Quail Hollow, Scotts Valley, Whispering Pines, Manana Woods and Felton.
