When there is a need in our schools, or organizations like the Fallen Officer Foundation or the Special Olympics, you will always find Mari Rossi’s name as a major contributor. The mountains that she moves are endless with her generosity and her powerful and positive influence that she brings just by walking onto a room is legendary. Chances are, there are already things that you have benefited from due to the generosity of Mari, without even knowing.

Before coming to Scotts Valley, where did you live?
I was born in Santa Cruz and raised in Felton.
What brought you to Scotts Valley and how long have you lived here?
My father was a teacher at Scotts Valley Jr High School. I bought my 1st home in Hidden Oaks in Scotts Valley in the 80’s and raised my family here. Both of my children got a wonderful education at Scotts Valley Schools.
What do you love most about living here and what motivates you to do what you do?
I love our sense of commUNITY in Scotts Valley and strive to keep it inclusive and family friendly. I also love volunteering at the middle school on weekday mornings.
