As reported on our Facebook Page at www.Facebook.com/myscottsvalley and our Twitter account at www.Twitter.com/myscottsvalley yesterday, a mountain lion was not just seen in a Scotts Valley neighborhood, but it appears to have attacked and killed a deer right on a neighbor’s lawn in the 1000 block Whispering Pines neighborhood around midnight on Monday evening/Tuesday morning, August 26th.
This is just a reminder that we live amongst them and must respect them and take precautionary measures to make sure kids, as well as our pets and we are safe.
