SVPD Chief John Weiss Address Recent Crime Spike in Scotts Valley
February 23, 2016 – In a recent broadcasting of the My Scotts Valley Weekly Radio Show, SVPD Chief John Weiss addressed the recent spike in crime and burglary in Scotts Valley, as well as the increase between 2014 and 2015 in burglaries and felony crimes.
Host of the show, Robert Aldana also discussed with Chief Weiss the effect of Proposition 47, a possible city security camera system and where many of the crime is coming from, as well as how to help prevent from being a victim of crime. Above picture courtesy of the SVPD Facebook page.
The second half of the radio show focused on the Scotts Valley Sports Complex and the progress of the group that is working towards raising funds to improve the sport facilities of the high school.
