POPULAR DINNER & FREE MOVIE IN THE PARK RETURNS

Featuring Food Trucks, Beer Garden, Live Music, Costumes

October 19, 2017 .. Scotts Valley Recreation and Food Trucks A Go Go have partnered together for an evening of fun with Dinner and Movie in the Park on Friday, October 27. Dinner is from 4:30-7:30pm with some of the best food trucks in Santa Cruz County. The movie, Hocus Pocus, begins at 6:30pm on the big outdoor screen at Skypark, Scotts Valley.

“Movie in the Park is one of Scotts Valley’s most popular and well attended events,” commented Kristin Ard, Scotts Valley’s Recreation Division Manager. “Our partnership with Food Trucks A Go Go makes an already fun family night even better. Big thanks to Scotts Valley Advocates for sponsoring this wonderful community event.”

Local favorites, The Shady Rest, will be performing from 4:30-6:30.

Valley Churches United is hosting the Beer Garden and is also collecting canned goods. East Cliff Brewing will be bringing their taproom to the Beer Garden.

People who come dressed in a Halloween costume will receive a treat!

There is plenty of open space for families to spread out and enjoy the evening, along with plenty of picnic tables. People are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch the movie.

The scheduled food trucks include: Saucey’z, Lindsey’s Palate Pleasures, Holopono, G’s Mexican Tacos and Aunt LaLi’s. Follow @foodtrucksagogo for more information, as the event is weather permitting.
