Santa Claus is not the only one coming to town as Rita’s Dessert Restaurant has signed their lease and is working on opening up next to Erik’s Deli at 222 Mt Hermon Road, Suite K, in the Kings Village Shopping Center in Scotts Valley. The dessert old fashioned custard specialty restaurant is looking to officially open March 2015, but they will be doing many pre-open taste testings and free sampling events and promise to be active in fundraising events to support various causes in the community. The upcoming Rita’s is a franchise, with the original Rita’s haven been founded in 1984.
