Santa Cruz, CA – The Scotts Valley Farmers’ Market is closing out another season, hosting its last market day on November 17th. It’s a bitter sweet afternoon when the farmers and food artisans that make up this special neighborhood market pack up their trucks for the last time. Customers look on misty-eyed knowing they must wait until May of 2019 to pick up their groceries and spend their Saturday mornings here once again.

This season has been a good one. Special events including the Blueberry Bonanza on opening day and the Apple-A-Day Festival in September brought new faces to the market. Music hung in the air, our favorite seasonal foods took their turns on the table and local artisanal businesses brought one-of-a-kind products to the market. The Scotts Valley Market showcases the best of organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, pasture-raised eggs and meats, flowers, breads, seafood, pastries and ready-to-eat cuisine to residents weekly May through November. We’ll see you in 2019!
