San Jose, California, November 21, 2015 – The San Jose Firefighters Burn Foundation presented Scotts Valley Fire Protection District Engineer/Paramedic Garrett Grigg with its American Heroes Service Award at their annual Charity Gala in support of the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Regional Burn Center.

Grigg has volunteered at the Burn Foundation’s Burn Camps for Children, since 1998.

The San Jose Firefighters Burn Foundation is committed to being a proactive educational and financial presence for the advancement in treatment and care of burn survivors and their families. The Santa Clara Valley Medical Center has been fortunate to have a Regional Burn Center for many burned patients who are unfortunate enough to require specialized treatment, either as an inpatient and/or as an outpatient.
