In an email from Tyler, one of Scotts Valley High’s football players, the entire community has just been given both, an invitation to come out and cheer our town’s high school football team, and a request to come out and SUPPORT our town’s high school football team.

The email was written as follows:

“Hi there, I’m a player on the varsity football squad. I thought I would share the schedule with you because we love when our community is out there to support us! (Plus we will be good this year)

The only game that is subject to change might be our November 9th game against harbor, I believe that’s our homecoming and we usually try and play that on a Friday night. Go falcons.”

One of the best things that kids can get involved in in addition to a great learning curriculum is sports. It teaches them life’s lessons of teamwork, dedication, fair play and keeps them involved and focused.

One of the best things we can do as a community is come out and support them for our kids are our future. And, the games are a lot of fun too!

And let’s not forget about supporting all local team sports by boys AND girls of our community. To go to SVHS’s athletics page for all sports, please go to:
