February 14, 2014 – The Scotts Valley Water District Board of Directors has adopted a resolution declaring a drought emergency for the Scotts Valley Water District and asking all potable water customers to reduce their consumption by 20%. It is a voluntary reduction and we need the whole community to pitch in to accomplish the system wide goal.

Please visit their website www.svwd.org or call the office 831-600-1907 if you have questions or could use help with how you can be part of the solution. They really do have some great tips on conserving water as well and easy to put up systems that capture your rain water, or re-using your bath and laundry water.
