In another power outage for residents of Scotts Valley, hundreds of residents were affected in the Glen Canyon and Sunridge areas with reports of power outages starting around 5pm and many residents having lost power for as long as three hours or more. Sometime around 8pm is when residents were reporting service being back up. This is the second power outage in back-to-back days in Scotts Valley, which is familiar with power outages as they have become common throughout the years due to weather conditions as well as man made failures as the result of accidents hitting power poles.
Yesterday, Wednesday April 9th residents were hit with a power outage that hit about 1,300 homes and lasted hours before power was restored.
