The Veterans Information Center at the Downtown Library Continues to Serve Veterans
One-on-One, and Brings Veterans Together for Community and Comradery

August 10, 2017—SANTA CRUZ, CA— Know a Veteran? Are you a Veteran? Join us on August 17th at 6:00pm War Time Memories, an event sponsored by the Veterans Information Center at the Downtown Library. Designed for Veterans and their families, we encourage attendees to bring photos, medals, mementos and share your story about them with the group. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Veterans Information Center at the library provides trained Volunteer Benefit Coaches to connect veterans and their families with local, state and federal resources on education, employment, housing, health, disability and other benefits that may be available to improve their lives.

Volunteer Benefits Coaches are still needed! If you love to help others while enhancing your own skills as a researcher and customer service assistant, contact the Library’s Volunteer Office at 427-7706 x 7615 or mailto:[email protected].
