Docent training begins Saturday, March 9, at Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Volunteer docent-naturalists become part of a team dedicated to helping the environment through education. Gain natural history knowledge of coast redwoods and their ecosystem, discovering the cultural history of California’s first State Park, and lead guided walks for both school groups and the general public.
